Jordan’s Jungle Beauty Blues…What’s Gone Wrong?

As speculation increases about whether Jordan’s eyebrows are tattooed, we ask the UK’s Queen of Semi Permanent Makeup what’s gone wrong?

Debra Robson-Lawrence tattoos the faces of famous people. Many of Debra’s clients are in the spotlight, ranging from Hollywood ‘A Listers’ and pop stars through to Royalty. Celebrities often have semi permanent make-up because it ensures that they look good all the time. Debra says “It certainly looks like Katie has some kind of permanent colour in her eyebrows, if you compare her image now to her first appearance in the jungle you will see that her once very natural looking eyebrows now look massively thick and are so dark they look blue/black. Katie is very pretty and this look is over heavy and ageing, and is the old-fashioned “drag queen” style of permanent makeup that we stay clear of.

Obviously, I love eyebrows and have recently launched our Power Brow using our exclusive technique for those who prefer a more defined, “High Power)” look। With semi-permanent make-up, we can create a slightly darker brow with more depth which is still in line with current trends but that doesn’t drown out the features. It’s an excellent way of updating your look instantly and can really awaken the face and bring the eyes to life, giving you that extra bit of sparkle! With a fine needle we can produce much more precise results and create ultra fine individual strokes that blend seamlessly with the natural hair.”

It’s not just the celebrities that are looking to achieve the thicker, heavier brow that is so now। Debra has noticed a marked increase this season in the number of every day women asking her to create a fuller brow in line with the recent beauty trend.
